Doug Sockman is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Principal at Cleveland Wealth, LLC. For over two decades, Mr. Sockman’s practice has been offering individuals and families comprehensive financial planning services with an emphasis in wealth management, retirement planning and tax reduction strategies. He has been published numerous times in The Plain Dealer, Crain’s and Smart Business magazine and was a routine participant of The Plain Dealer’s Ask the Expert column. Mr. Sockman has provided countless retirement planning seminars to various groups and organizations, in addition to continuing education workshops for Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Sockman is an alumnus of Ohio University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree and graduated Cum Laude. He holds the following professional designations and registrations: Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Investment Advisor Representative. Having grown-up in Northeastern Ohio, Doug now resides in Westlake with his wife and their two daughters.
